Operated by InterContinental Hotel since its original opening in 1954, it instantly became the magnet for high society, visiting heads of state and the city itself.
The hotel includes an epic grand staircase featuring a 4.5-meter-high chandelier, the Royal Suite which occupies the entire floor, and a 1000-person capacity ballroom.
The project lasted over 12 years and consisted of the development of the four towers including one residential property.
